Marissa's love affair with makeup began as a young girl and by the age of sixteen, she quickly became the go-to girl helping her friends look great for parties and special events. She attended college at The University of Central Florida and, as a natural people person, earned a degree in Interpersonal Communication. Marissa's passion for beauty bloomed during college as she did freelance makeup, helping brides and local clients blossom into their most beautiful selves.

After college, Marissa moved to New York City and started what would become a 10-year career as International Make-up Artist & Education Manager for prestige brand, Laura Geller New York. Trained by celebrity makeup artist Laura Geller herself, Marissa started working at the Laura Geller Makeup Studio on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and gained invaluable experience working with NYC socialites, celebrities, and every-day women from around the world.

Marissa's extroverted personality combined with her natural ability to educate others led her to her next endeavor as the on-air guest for the American cable, satellite, and broadcast television network QVC. Through her many years of on-air experience, Marissa quickly learned that not only does she love to apply makeup, she excels at public speaking as well as sharing product knowledge and makeup artistry tips and tricks.

In 2012, Marissa was named Laura Geller New York's International Make-up Artist and took on the role of Education Manager where she wrote the entire education curriculum for the Field Artistry and Sales Team. During this time, she traveled the country training, coaching, and developing a team of over 40 full time employees. Marissa also traveled nationally and internationally launching the brand and teaching Beauty Master Classes to both make-up artists and consumers alike.

In 2017, fate would bring Marissa to build a life in sunny Florida. Saying goodbye to the fast-paced New York City life was hard, but falling in love and saying goodbye to winter was easy, so now she has taken the knowledge she acquired through beauty education, artistry, and positive self-improvement to build her own brand teaching Master Classes and servicing local clients throughout Central Florida.

Marissa's beautiful artistry skills, her innate ability to connect with clients, and her desire to educate others brought her to where she is today. She wants her clients to not only look beautiful- but she wants them to understand that they too can do this. Marissa's personal mission is to empower her clients by helping them let go of their insecurities and embrace who they truly are. She understands each woman or man's particular beauty, how to flatter and enhance it, how to bring out their best features, and how to reveal what makes them unique.

As Marissa says, "I am happiest when I am making others happy.  It gives me great joy to help real people feel great about themselves. When you're in that place of happiness and confidence, your beauty will shine through no matter what."
